Ken Wood
I was born in Gainesville, Texas. At the age of three, my family moved to Sherman, Texas where I spent most of my life.
I am married with a daughter, son, and three beautiful grandkids.
I graduated from Sherman High School in 1967, went into the Air Force, then graduated from Grayson County College in Denison with an Associates Degree.
I started in radio in 1974. After a brief stint in broadcasting in the Air Force on the Armed Forces Network, I never pursued broadcasting until I graduated from Grayson County College. My first job was at KFYN Radio in Bonham. From there I went to Greenville, Sherman, and then two years in Uvalde and San Antonio. Soon after I returned to Sherman Radio, then Gainesville, and on to my present position at KNTX radio in Bowie.
